Power of Attorney

If you would like us to add a Power of Attorney designation, please contact Robinhood Support with the following information:

Account holder’s account number (if unknown, we need to verify the account holder's date of birth and last 4 of SSN)
A color copy of the notarized or court ordered documents stating you’re now the Power of Attorney.
A photo or color copy of the front and back of your unexpired driver's license, or other government-issued form of identification.
A letter or legal document showing the account holder is incapacitated or otherwise unable to transact in the account.

Note

Robinhood is currently unable to support Power of Attorney as an account feature because we can’t provide third-party authorized access to another customer’s account using the app or website. However, we can collect documents to transact with a Power of Attorney and authorized requests over the phone if the account holder is unable to transact in the account themselves.

What happens next

After we receive the requested information, one of our Transitional Services representatives will begin the review process and inform you if any additional information is required.
