Security guarantee
As a safety first company, we are committed to keeping your Robinhood accounts protected. We use robust security measures and tools to protect your accounts.
If eligible, we’ll reimburse direct losses due to unauthorized activity. To qualify for a reimbursement, you must do the following to keep your accounts secure:
Don’t share account details. Keep account details and login credentials private and up-to-date, such as your Robinhood account login PIN, password, and username. You’re solely responsible for monitoring and safeguarding your account. If you give someone else your account login credentials, fail to keep them secure, or give someone the authority to execute transactions on your account, any resulting activity on your account may be considered authorized by you. For details, check out Verifying it's you and Security best practices.
Keep devices secure. Ensure the safety and security of any devices with access to your account, such as a mobile device or computer. Monitor your devices for any unusual activity, enable your devices’ passcode, PIN, and biometric login (if available), and keep them safe and private at all times.
