Third-party connections
If you connect to your Robinhood account through an officially supported third-party service, such as Rocket Money, Venmo, or Chase, you most likely won’t get a notification from Robinhood. However, if your Robinhood account uses Two-factor authentication (2FA) and you connect to it from an unofficial third-party service, you might get a login notification from Robinhood.
Official third-party services won’t ask for your Robinhood account login credentials or password.
Review your recent third-party service logins to confirm that they line up with the timeline of your alert.
If you can’t recall linking Robinhood to a third-party service or you think a login is unauthorized as a bad actor, report it to us immediately. For more details about bad actors, review How to identify and report scams.
We don’t allow trading APIs to be linked to your Robinhood account without written authorization from Robinhood. We also don't allow third-party applications to control or take action on your Robinhood app.
For details about APIs related to Crypto, review Crypto Trading API.
