Market data sources for Robinhood Legend
Robinhood Legend sources quotes and data for stocks, ETFs, and options from several different exchanges, depending on the trading session, to give customers access to important trading information.
For crypto, quotes and data are sourced from a mix of different exchanges.
Since Legend uses data from multiple sources, it's possible that market data points on Legend may not exactly match the data in-app or on web classic. You may notice this discrepancy with the data points listed below. These data points appear across different widgets, including Watchlists, Positions, and more.
National Best Bid and Offer (NBBO)data is available on the Robinhood app, web classic, and Legend at the time you place any securities trade.
Each data point in the above list may not be available for every asset tradable in Legend.
Your account value uses the same sources as the Robinhood app, so your account value, buying power, and cash will appear the same across Legend, the Robinhood app, and web classic.
The value of your positions in Legend uses a mark price derived from the multi-exchange source used by the rest of Legend. This means the sum of your positions’ market value in Legend may differ slightly from your total account value.
Futures and event contract positions won’t appear in Legend.
Market data displayed on Robinhood Legend for stocks and ETFs comes from Nasdaq Basic, NYSE BQT, Cboe One, MEMX, IEX, Blue Ocean, OTC Markets, and OPRA (for options trading only).
All crypto trades on Legend use smart exchange routing (SER), which seeks to route your order to the partner exchange offering the best available price for your order. With SER, you will be charged a flat percentage fee on each transaction. Review our FAQ and the Fee schedule for more information. This feature cannot be turned off in Legend.
