Transfers
You can transfer money in or out of your Robinhood spending account to your bank or other Robinhood accounts.
You can link a bank account or non-Robinhood debit card to your account and fund your spending account by transferring funds from your bank account. These funds appear as Pending in your History until the funds clear in up to 5 business days.
As a Robinhood customer, you can also set up direct deposit of your paycheck into your spending account, or use your account number and routing number to move funds from an external bank account.
You can transfer money to a linked bank account from your spending account:
Transfers will take 3–5 business days to complete.
If you haven’t linked your bank account yet, follow the steps in Link your accounts to set it up.
To link your spending account with other accounts, you’ll need your account number and routing number. The routing number identifies the financial institution. To find your account number and routing number in your app by going to Spending (dollar icon)→ Settings → Account & Routing Numbers.
We work with partner banks to process transactions. The spending account and routing numbers are issued by JPMorgan Chase Bank. This means that transfers to and from your spending account using account number and routing number may appear as transfers to and from JPMorgan Chase Bank in your transaction history at other institutions.
Wire transfers aren’t supported through your spending account routing and account numbers. Review Wire transfers for more information.
You can transfer up to a total of $500,000 instantly each day between your spending, individual investing, and joint investing accounts to use immediately.
The money (up to the daily limit) that’s in your spending account or withdrawable cash in your individual or joint investing accounts is available for instant transfers between your Robinhood accounts.
